Kokina slippers

Start your day with a touch of Christmas sparkle with AC AnatolianCraft’s Kokina slippers! Kokina is an old Istanbul tradition when Christmas comes. It is a custom borrowed from the city’s once-large and vibrant ethnic Rum population. This tradition of making kokina continues in Istanbul. Kokina is created by putting together two plants, Ruscus aculeatus and Smilax excelsa. Winter in Istanbul is always a good idea for sure!

Size & Fit

Recommend to size up for wider feet and true to size for a narrow foot.
For an optimal fit and comfort, there should be a little room between the heel and the edge of the shoe.

Recommended Care

Wipe with a damp cloth, do not bleach, lay flat to dry.
When not in use, keep them in their care bags.
Given the delicate nature of the handmade embellishments used, they are not recommended for wear in muddy or wet areas.
